Opening and operation of the domain
What are your opening hours?
Mas Saint-Gens is open 365 days a year.
We welcome you all year round, in every season.
Provence is beautiful year-round. Spring and autumn are perfect for cycling, hiking and exploring villages, while summer offers lavender fields, markets and warm evenings outdoors.
What are the arrival/departure arrangements?
Weekdays: arrival from 5pm, departure until 11am
Weekend package: arrival from 5pm on Friday, departure until 5pm on Sunday => a Great Weekend.
To allow for a self and/or late arrival, we will send you the access codes the day before your arrival. For this to work, it is essential that full payment (rent, cleaning, chosen options, tourist tax) and the security deposit are received before your arrival.
What is the minimum length of stay?
Mas Saint-Gens welcomes you to Provence for stays of 2 nights or more (1 night for seminars).
Except for the summer: we rent by the week, from Saturday to Saturday, in July and August.
A minimum stay of 3 or 4 nights is required for certain holidays and long weekends.
Is the area accessible in winter?
The houses are fully heated and the estate remains accessible in winter.
All facilities are available: meeting room, common areas, park with all recreational facilities (beach volleyball, trampoline, swings, ping-pong table, foosball, pétanque courts, etc.). Only the swimming pools are closed during the winter season.
Our winters are generally dry and sunny, which often allows us to have lunch outside.
What is the appeal of Provence in winter?
The region's many assets make it attractive all year round. The winter light is magnificent, and it's not uncommon for the sky to turn pink in the late afternoon.
Avignon is a city of rich cultural heritage that never sleeps. The antique dealers of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue welcome you year-round. The winemakers will take extra time to introduce you to their wines. The market and flea market in Carpentras are held weekly without interruption. Children can enjoy Spirou Park during every school holiday.
Capacity and privatization
What is the total capacity?
Mas Saint-Gens can accommodate up to 45 people spread across 5 cottages and 17 comfortable rooms.
The estate is particularly suitable for large group stays in Provence, family reunions, cousin gatherings and seminars.
Is the estate completely privatizable?
Yes. When booking, by choosing "privatization" in the booking module, the entire estate is privatized for your group, whether you are 15, 30 or 45... You can freely enjoy the houses, common areas and facilities in a calm and secure environment.
If you do not choose "privatization", you may have to share the domain with others, but everything is organized to maintain comfort and privacy.
Note, however, that privatization of the estate is required during high and peak season periods.
Privatization is mandatory for all professional or private events, and as soon as your group reaches 30 people.
Please note: Privatizing the venue does not grant you access to our private area. You must also allow the gardeners, pool technicians, and tradespeople who work on the property each week to continue their work.
How many rooms are available?
Mas Saint-Gens can accommodate up to 45 people spread across 5 cottages and 17 comfortable rooms.
Most rooms are double, some are triple or quadruple.
Most of the beds are single, allowing for up to 35 people to be accommodated individually. However, single beds can be combined in pairs as needed.
Which holiday home(s) is the best?
Outside of periods when privatization is mandatory, you can rent either of our cottages, together or separately.
Our holiday homes all have the same level of amenities. Only the decor and the number of beds vary. They all provide access to all the facilities on the resort.
The Maison des Voyageurs is completely independent with its own garden and parking; the others are semi-detached. They do not disturb each other. They have all been designed to be equally pleasant for small groups as for large ones.
Maison des Souvenirs and Maison du Bonheur can be combined on request to offer a beautiful space with 20 beds.
Seminars and events
Is the venue suitable for seminars?
Yes. Mas Saint-Gens regularly hosts corporate seminars, training courses and professional retreats.
Indoor spaces allow for meetings, workshops and social gatherings in a warm and inspiring setting, in the heart of Vaucluse, near Avignon.
The Lab room is perfect for hosting your residential seminar. It can sometimes be rented on its own by the day during the off-season to local businesses.
The outdoor spaces and their infrastructure allow for on-site organization of moments of cohesion and relaxation without leaving the grounds.
Feel free to contact us to organize your seminar.
Is it possible to organize a festive event?
Yes, with respect for the place and the neighborhood.
The estate is regularly chosen for birthdays, family celebrations, family reunions, hen parties and private events.
Is it possible to organize a wedding?
We would be delighted to host your intimate wedding. Please note: the venue will be reserved exclusively for your use. A maximum of 40 people are allowed for the entire duration of the event to ensure everyone's comfort. The Lab room is available as a backup option should the weather require it.
Please contact us and let us know your requirements. We will review your request.
What is the Lab?
A room for your residential corporate seminars, management committees, wellness stays, training courses, etc.
It is equipped with:
Video projector, screen, flip chart.
This is also a room available for group meals when the weather does not permit eating outside.
And also a room to play your music.
Folding tables and chairs for 45.
Air conditioning and heating.
Bathroom.
Dishes for 20+ dishwasher safe.
On the same level as the garden and benefiting from natural light, the Lab room is a beautiful place for reflection, exchange and sharing.
Equipment and services
Should we clean up?
End-of-stay cleaning, regardless of the length of stay, is charged extra and is mandatory, so that everyone has the same level of service.
Is bed linen provided?
Our beds are equipped with mattress protectors, duvets, and pillows. We can rent you bed linen if needed (€10/bed) (+€10/bed for beds made up) and towels (€10/person). Please make your request at least 15 days before your arrival. For hygiene reasons, the use of bed linen is mandatory. Otherwise, the washing of the mattress protectors, duvets, and pillows will be charged. Bed linen and towels are included for stays of 7 nights or more (except during the low season).
Is the area suitable for children?
Children of all ages are welcome at Mas Saint-Gens. The grounds are enclosed. The swimming pools are located within a gated area . The large lawn, swings , trampoline, and more await children and adults alike.
The estate allows parents to relax and children to have fun (although vigilance is required).
Do you have any baby equipment?
Yes, we have 3 travel cots, 2 high chairs, 2 baby baths, 2 potties, and plastic tableware. Please let us know your needs at least 15 days before your arrival. For insurance purposes, babies are included in the house occupancy count.
How are the cottages equipped?
All our holiday homes have new or recently renovated equipment. The bedding is new, French-made, and of hotel quality. The same applies to the duvets and pillows. Dishwasher, TV, and Wi-Fi are provided. A table and chairs are available for meals together. Access to a washing machine and dryer is also included. Approximately one month before your arrival, you will receive a welcome booklet with all the information about your holiday home and the surrounding area.
Do you have a central communal kitchen?
We don't have a communal kitchen, but each cottage has its own, large enough to cook for many people (even 45!). There are plenty of utensils and dishes (each cottage has its own dishes for its number of guests plus a set for 45 people in the storage room). Each kitchen has its own refrigerator, plus a large refrigerator in the storage room. The kitchen at Maison des Rêveurs is near the Lab.
We can recommend local caterers and private chefs who are familiar with the venue and comfortable with our kitchens.
If we rent several houses, where will we all eat together?
During the warmer months, large tables are set up outside in the patio for 45 people.
Outside of this period, the Lab room is at your disposal (contact us for availability and price if you do not privatize the domain).
The House of Happiness has a large dining room that can accommodate 20 people seated at a table.
The Maison des Voyageurs also has a spacious living room.
I would like more information about swimming pools.
3 swimming pools are dedicated to the Holiday Homes of Mas Saint-Gens in the Vaucluse, in a secure and closed enclosure: 1 of 11x5x1.5 m (heated from April to October depending on the weather), 1 of ø 6 mX1.5 m, 1 paddling pool of 3x3x0.4 m.
Where can I park?
Mas Saint-Gens has its own private and secure parking area. The Maison des Voyageurs also has its own parking space.
Is Mas Saint-Gens equipped for people with reduced mobility?
Unfortunately not, we are sorry.
Can I bring my pet?
For everyone's peace and quiet, it is unfortunately not possible to bring your pet.
Can I bring my bike?
Yes, we offer you an enclosed space, a water point and a tool kit.
Located close to the three legendary ascents of the mountain (Bédoin, Malaucène and Sault), Mas Saint-Gens offers spacious accommodation perfectly suited for cycling groups.
I have a few administrative and financial questions
What are your internal regulations?
You can read them below. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the premises.
Why leave a deposit?
The deposit is used to guarantee the costs of buybacks and repairs following damage that you may cause (indoors and outdoors).
No entry will be permitted if the deposit has not been received beforehand.
Why pay a tourist tax?
It is mandated by the region to provide you with quality infrastructure. The price is determined by the accommodation's rating. Only adults pay it. €1/adult/night (3-star rating).
What is your policy regarding noise pollution?
Out of respect for the neighbors, outdoor music is prohibited after 10 PM. A noise meter is installed in the patio. Inside, in the Lab, the sound level must be kept to a minimum (no DJs or large sound systems; dancing until 2 AM maximum). We ask that you sign a waiver before your arrival, agreeing to abide by these rules.
